
Window & Door Salesperson
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Window and Door Salesperson makes high volume sales of windows, doors and related millwork products directly to customers. Products sold represent a full range of contemporary national millwork manufacturers and specialty lines used in new construction and retrofit installations in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area. Sales are not limited to Millwork items, but include the entire collection of building materials and supplies we carry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work directly with contractors and homeowners
- Learn and be able to competently explain millwork product details
- Accurately and efficiently process quotes and orders
- Respond to inquiries by email or over the phone
- Follow-up on quotes or customer orders
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure order accuracy and timely processing
QUALIFICATIONS:
- General knowledge of the construction process or eagerness to learn
- Ability to read (or learn) technical drawings and plans
- Capable of managing multiple projects while meeting deadlines
- Sales or Sales Support Experience
- Excellent communication, mathematical, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Friendly and dependable with a professional attitude
EDUCATION and KNOWLEDGE:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer competency including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to become comfortable with Point-of-Sale enterprise software and other manufacturer proprietary applications (PowerBid®, etc.)
- Bilingual language skills a plus
